Recognising the breadth of attractive opportunities in Latin America, Talex in 2017 opened a representative office in Lima, Peru to cover the region.

The Peru office is managed by Edgardo Bernal, with support from Hender Pastor, a Peruvian citizen currently residing in London.

Within a matter of months following the establishment of this representative office, the Peru team secured several exclusive corporate finance roles, including being engaged to sell the flagship Cobriza copper/silver mine on behalf of labour union creditors of Doe Run for approximately US$70 million..  Additional projects in Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia and Chile are in the pipeline.
